Monday – a new week, new goals and new plans.
Spring is here, so we get ready for the Spring campaign.
Living in the circumstances of war and continuous air alerts, a plan for emergency situations is necessary.
As time goes really fast, we already start planning for the summer camp as well.
We hope you can make your plans come true.
Spring. Quite soon now, tractors start working on the fields and in the kitchen gardens. When everything wakes up, we start living outdoors. This is a very Ukrainian feature.
I remember spring 2022. You were not allowed to go to the fields before sappers went through it with their metal detectors.
Gardening takes much time. Many people start the work early in the morning before going to their jobs, and work again till late in the evening. There are many families in our circle of aid who have no other source of sustenance than their garden.
This is why it is so important to support the families with their spring seed packages just now. Come along and help them.

Ilya and Svyatoslav watched storks flying over the village.
“When we have an air alert and have to run from the school to the shelter, where do the storks flee?”
They were very curious about the question.

Watch what you say – words matter
Did you know that our language has more than 250,000 words. We use at least 7,000 different words per day.
Communication is important for children, because words can hurt or make happy.
“He who guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin!” (Proverbs 13:3)
In the Friend’s House, the children learned a lot about the influence of words, and now they will monitor their language. With kind words and positive thoughts, everyone made crafts for their friends together, and no one was left without a gift.
