1 june Children's day

On International Children’s Protection Day June 1st, we invite you to support children living in the midst of war in Ukraine. Your donation helps concretely – right now, where the need is greatest.

When everything around changes, Sasha holds on to the only thing that feels familiar.

Small shoulders carry big fears

“Every day I think about when the war will end. Air raid sirens sound all the time.

At school we run to the bomb shelter. At home we sit quietly inside.

The alarm can last all night, until morning. You can’t go to school

until the alarm stops.

One day a shaheed drone flew over the village, a helicopter chasing it.

I went outside with mom and dad to watch. It was so scary I wanted to cry and scream – but I was so afraid I couldn’t even cry.

Mom says everything will end soon. That we’ll get to live in peace.

It should happen now.”

Sasha 10 years old.

Support Ukraine’s children – today

Millions of Ukrainian children still live in the midst of war. Many have no home, no bed, or daily meal. Our mission is to walk alongside them – providing warmth, food, support and hope.

Your donation makes this possible.

Where does your donation go?

  • Food for families with children and refugees
  • Warm clothes and hygiene supplies
  • Psychosocial support for war-traumatized children
  • School supplies and learning support
  • Safe space in the Friends’ House

Thank you for caring.

Your donation is not just help – it’s a message: you are not alone.
