I love my mother and my grandmother immensely. Besides them, I have no one.
As long as I can remember, mother was always very ill. She is now worse than ever and cannot walk at all. I have known for long how to cook, wash up, clean, do the shopping. I am now learning to wash and change the bandages on mother’s leg ulcers.
I want to say a heartfelt thank-you to all of you who are helping us so that I can buy food and clothes. Your aid is vital to us. I also wish to thank the Children’s Embassy Team who are supporting us spiritually and mentally. Sometimes we just need to talk to someone.
I am trying to focus on school, as the final exams are near. But when I am at school, my thoughts go to mother and grandmother:
”How are they doing at home, how are they managing without me?”
I trust absolutely that things will be better. A heartfelt thank-you to all of you who are helping us.
