“We had to travel to Chernigiv regional hospital for our children’s medical check-ups. There was no transport, and we had no money to travel. Everything turned out well, when Children’s Embassy provided the lift.” – Mother Natalia

Some things we no longer need can be of value to others.

For instance the table on the photo. We didn’t need it, and it lay useless. But it found a new life in the home of Ira and Artyom. The kids were very happy and immediately started to draw and play at the table.

Many of us certainly have some old but usable things that can be given away. They can bring a lot of joy and be useful. – Katerina

Law amendments in Ukraine burden bookkeepers

13.11.2020

A new amendment of law requires saving the digital signature of bookkeeping reports on a USB security token. Otherwise, a report is not valid.

You can only buy a token from an especially licensed organization. The price is much higher than that of a common USB flash drive. The common drive costs about 7 Euro, while the token costs about 50 Euro – and you need two of them. This is only the cheapest one!

The legislation continues to help certain actors earn money, instead of facilitating the work of organizations and small enterprises. This is my personal opinion.

All this also requires much time. I had to fetch the tokens and configure them in the software. As it was the first time for me, I really had to struggle and find the solution. It was no easy job. – Julia, bookkeeper
