Friend’s House provides understanding, listening and support.

Last week, our friend Stuart came from England. The children were happy to meet him. He helped them with their English homework.

Our Story Corner was a bit different. The story was “Mrs. Butterfly”, which the children had already read at school. We took turns reading, the children and I.
Friend’s House also teaches domestic skills. The girls learnt how to conserve cabbage for winter.

Each day is different, and interesting things take place. Sometimes, the children come just to talk. They want to unburden their hearts or share their joys. They leave Friend’s House with an easy mind having been heard, understood and supported.
